Having a real Christmas tree celebrates the traditions of Christmas that I had growing up and my children have continued. Memories of driving to the Pocono Mountains as a child, getting to choose a “one-of-a-kind” unique tree, the smell of the pine throughout the house, are wonderful nostalgic traditions that make every Christmas so special. Even the needles falling off sort of bring closure to the Holiday season.
